Porsche has expanded its new Panamera model range with the introduction of the new Panamera Turbo S e-Hybrid and Panamera GTS. The former is the new flagship of the Panamera series globally and is the fastest variant to date, while the GTS places more emphasis on driving dynamics and has been confirmed for the Indian market.
Prices for the new Panamera GTS start at INR 2.33 crore (ex-showroom).

The India-specific model starts:
The Panamera GTS gets several variant-specific elements, such as satin black surfaces on the exterior trim elements such as the side skirts, inserts in the front area, side window trims, and the rear bumper. The GTS also gets darker tints on the headlights and taillights and rides on 21-inch aluminum wheels with central locking in anthracite grey.
Buyers can also choose between 20-inch and 21-inch wheel designs other than the standard units. A dark bronze sports exhaust is also standard. Inside the GTS comes with black leather and Race-Tex upholstery as standard, with single- and two-tone leather trim available as options.
The GTS comes standard with adaptive sports seats with 18-way electric adjustment. The GTS seats four as standard, but buyers have the option to replace the rear center storage compartment with space for five. In terms of features, the GTS is equipped with features such as soft-close doors, four-zone air conditioning, electric sun blinds for rear passengers, Matrix LED headlights, GTS-specific adaptive air suspension, and a Bose audio system.

In terms of powertrain, the 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 under the bonnet produces 494 horsepower, 20 horsepower more than the previous GTS. Porsche claims the car can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.
8 seconds and has a top speed of 302 km/h.
About the Turbo S E-Hybrid
Porsche says that its new top model is the most powerful Panamera ever produced in a series.
The combination of the twin-turbo V8 and electric motor produces 101 hp and 150 Nm more than the previous Turbo S E-Hybrid, for a total of 771 hp and 1,000 Nm. The result is a 0-100 km/h acceleration of less than three seconds and a top speed of 325 km/h, both improved over the previous model.
The electric motor draws power from a 25.9 kWh battery. Porsche says the new battery stores 45 percent more energy than the previous one. The automaker says the car has an all-electric range of up to 88 km. The Turbo S E-Hybrid comes standard with Porsche’s ceramic composite brakes.
The Turbo S E-Hybrid distinguishes itself from the rest of the series with visual improvements including revised bumpers and Turbonite inserts (metallic grey color) on the bumper airplanes and 21-inch center lock wheels. Turbonite inserts can also be found inside the car, including on the steering wheel, center console, and contrast stitching.
In terms of technology, the new Panamera flagship comes standard with Porsche’s 400V Active Ride suspension. The system uses an electric hydraulic pump to adjust the settings of each shock absorber in real time to minimize body movement. Other standard features include a Bose audio system and rear-axle steering.
