Maruti Suzuki launched the fourth-generation Swift last month with great success. The Indo-Japanese car maker sold 19,393 units of the new Swift, making it the best-selling car in May this year. Now, the company plans to launch the new Dzire, which will be based on the fourth-generation Dzire. Test vehicles of the sub-four-metre-long sedan have been spotted several times in the past few months.
This time, the car was captured on camera sporting retrofitted LED headlights. The latest images come from a YouTube video uploaded by MRD Cars. The pictures were taken at Omkar Accessories Shop in Delhi. The video shows images of new aftermarket headlights with LED reflectors and integrated LED daytime running lights to give the car a more premium look.
It is unlikely that Maruti will offer LED headlights as standard even on the top trim.

New Maruti Dzire: Exterior and Interior
In terms of design, the new-gen Dzire will get a slightly different grille and bumper design, while the sedan’s standard headlights will be sleeker compared to the Swift. From previous spy photos, it has been confirmed that the new Swift will come with a single-panel electric sunroof.
Moreover, the alloy wheel design is also expected to be different from the current version. Inside, the new Dzire will feature the familiar layout of the fourth-generation Swift, including a 9-inch free-standing touch screen infotainment system, a semi-digital instrument console and a flat-bottomed multifunction steering wheel.
Other features expected in the new-gen Dzire include a 360-degree camera, Suzuki Connect telemetric, Android Auto and Apple CarPlay connectivity, automatic climate control and more. Like the Swift, the new Dzire is also expected to come with six airbags as standard.
New Maruti Dzire: Powertrain Specifications
The new Maruti Dzire will be the second model after the fourth-generation Swift to be powered by a 1.2-litre, three-cylinder, naturally aspirated Z-series petrol engine. This engine produces 81 horsepower and 112 Nm of peak torque. Power is transferred through a five-speed manual transmission or a five-speed AMT. A CNG version of the Dzire will also be offered.
