Mercedes-Benz has launched India’s most pocket-friendly electric SUV, the EQA, with prices starting at Rs 66 lakh (ex-showroom). The Mercedes Benz EQA model is an electrified version of the GLA and comes in one fully equipped variant called the EQA 250+.
In terms of design, the new EQA gets LED light strips at the front and rear, a new radiator grille with a three-pointed star pattern, 19-inch aluminum rims and all-around LED taillights. It is available in seven colours – Polar White Hi-Tech Silver, Cosmos Black, Mountain Grey, Spectral Blue, Patagonia Red and Mountain Grey Magno.
Mercedes Benz EQA- Features
In terms of features, the Mercedes EQA has a 360-degree camera, HUD, gesture control, dual-zone automatic climate control, power tailgate, four driving modes, a panoramic sunroof, two 10.25-inch screens and seven airbags. The EQA 2024 is powered by a 70.
5 kWh battery pack connected to a single electric motor, which achieves a range of 560 km on a single full charge.
The car has an output of 188 hp and 385 Nm. With 11 kW AC charging, the EQA can be charged from 0 to 100 per cent in 7 hours and 15 minutes. Meanwhile, charging from 10 to 80 per cent with a 100 kW DC charger takes 35 minutes. In India, the EQA competes with the BMW iX1 and Volvo XC40 Recharge.
