Hyundai India is gearing up to launch the Alcazar facelift in India, with a lightly camouflaged test vehicle spotted undergoing testing.
The facelifted Alcazar appears to sport a similar front-end design to the Creta, with the more angular look that debuted on the latter. The tallest daytime running lights are visible, while the main headlights are now rectangular, vertically stacked units. The grille design also seems to be more rectangular compared to the outgoing model.

There are no major changes to the profile, with the most noticeable innovation being the new aluminum rims. The rear of the Alcazar will get redesigned taillights and a new bumper. As the Creta is equipped with Level 2 technology, the test vehicle is also expected to benefit from additional ADAS features.
Several other features of the Creta are also expected to be carried over to the Alcazar. As before, the Alcazar will be equipped with technology such as a 10.25-inch touchscreen, and a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster, ventilated front seats, second-row captain’s chairs, and an electric driver’s seat.
As far as engine options are concerned, the Alcazar is expected to carry over the engine options from its predecessor, which include a 1.5-litre turbo petrol and a 1.5-litre diesel. Both are expected to be offered in manual and automatic transmission options. Once launched, the revamped Alcazar will compete with models like the MG Hector Plus, Tata Safari, and Mahindra XUV700.
