Honda Cars India Ltd (HCIL) has announced the latest initiative all-petrol car new warranty program. Under this, a customer can buy an extended warranty of up to seven years within two years of the date of purchase.
The extended warranty is available on petrol variants like City, Elevate, and City e: HEV, and Amaze. It also includes the petrol models of Jazz, Civic, and WR-V if the owners have enrolled for the extended warranty program in advance. Apart from this, it offers unlimited kilometers up to seven years.

In addition to the availability of other options until the expiration date of the standard warranty, customers can purchase an unlimited-kilometer extended warranty for up to seven years within two years of the purchase date. For existing customers, one can have an extended warranty until the fourth and fifth year and also opt for a warranty extension of up to seven years or up to 1,50,000 km (whichever is earlier).
HCIL had posted a total sales figure of 10,911 units for the previous month. It registered home market sales of 5,675 units and export sales of 5,236 units. Compare this with what it had registered in September 2023-home market sales of 9,861 units and export sales of 1,310 units.
In summary, in September 2024, Honda sold 10,911 units, 5,675 of which were for domestic sales and 5,236 for export. The total number recorded is a decrease in sales by 2.32 percent, while domestic sales decreased by 42.4 percent from the same month last year. Exports, on the other hand, have increased almost threefold compared to September 2023, when it exported 1310 units.
