Audi India has launched the Q5 Bold Edition, priced at Rs 72.3 lakh (ex-showroom). The Q5 is the third Audi SUV to get the Bold Edition this year, following the Q7, Q3, and Q3 Sportback last month. Audi says the Q5 Bold Edition will be available in limited numbers but did not reveal the exact number.
Like its sibling, the Q5 Bold Edition comes with black decorative details as part of the standard Black Styling Package Plus. Black elements include the trim strip on the radiator grille, Audi logos front and rear, window line trim, door mirrors, and roof rails. The Bold Edition is available in one of five paint finishes – Glacier White, Mythos Black, District Green, Navara Blue, and Manhattan Grey.

Interestingly, Audi had launched a special edition of the Q5 with a similar visual update, but it was only available in Mythos Black paint back then. In terms of price, the Bold Edition is priced at about Rs 150,000 more than the Q5 Technology’s Rs 708,000 (ex-showroom). The Q5 is also available in a cheaper Premium Plus trim, priced at Rs 655,000 (ex-showroom).
In terms of equipment, the Q5 comes with features like adaptive dampers, a panoramic sunroof, a 360-degree camera, a B&O sound system, Audi virtual cockpit digital instrument cluster, electrically adjustable front seats, driver’s seat memory function, three-zone air conditioning, a powered tailgate and more. Power comes from the renowned 2.0-liter turbo petrol engine that delivers 261 hp and 370 Nm of peak torque.
Power is transmitted to all four wheels via an automatic transmission and Quattro all-wheel drive. The Q5 competes with vehicles like the Mercedes-Benz GLC and BMW X3 in the Indian market.
