With the new generation of the fourth-generation Swift being launched soon, Maruti Suzuki is geared to launch the latest generation of Dzire sedan alternatives in the coming months. Moving over the current model of the 2024 Maruti Dzire, the new Dzire comes with a new design, updated interior, and many more features on its bank list. Besides, the new Dzire could bring three things from the 2024 Swift hatchback. Check them out.
2024 Maruti Dzire: New 1.2-litre Three-cylinder Petrol Engine
The Maruti Suzuki has released the 2024 Swift with a new 1.2-liter 3-cylinder Z series petrol engine. This new powerplant delivers 82 PS and 112 Nm. The new Dzire to be expected most probably would be powered by the same petrol unit, although there is a likelihood of it being available with manual as well as automatic transmission.
Apart from this, like the 2024 Swift, the 2024 Maruti Dzire is likely to be sold with a factory-fitted CNG kit. When running on CNG, power output in the 2024 Swift dips to 69 PS and 102 Nm, though mileage surges to 32.85 km/kg.
Improved Interior with New Features
There was a new-generation Swift, which of course had an updated cabin with a new dashboard arrangement and an all-black theme enlivened by silvers. We can expect the same update for 2024 Dzire, but this one will probably sport a dual-tone cabin theme and not blend with its hatchback version sibling.
Others will include features like a new 9-inch touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Android Auto/Apple CarPlay connectivity and a wireless phone charger, all of which should be carryover from the 2024 Swift.
Standard Safety Kit

The 2024 Dzire is likely to borrow its safety features from the Swift. Six airbags will come as standard on the new model. Other safety features include ABS with EBD, ESP, hill hold assist, ISOFIX child seat mounts, and rear parking sensors. The higher variants will also have a rear camera.
2024 Maruti Suzuki Dzire Price and Expected Launch
The 2024 Maruti Dzire will be priced starting at Rs 7 lakh (ex-showroom). Though the company hasn’t given any release date, this car will reach the Indian market within a few months. Once more, the car will be a face-off with Hyundai Aura, Honda Amaze, and Tata Tigor.
